Abstract

Supply chain Resilience is important for firms to enhance their business in the global market. The operations in this supply chain need to run well for better outcomes. Due to covid 19 pandemic, various changes take place in the supply chain management. Moreover It needs to become resilient to reduce the disruption that occur in the future. This research main aim is to explain the resilience of global supply chain in the post pandemic time along with key factors that influence the supply chain. In addition, it also aims to find the useful strategies and approaches for mitigating disruptions in the global supply chain.

A survey with supply chain professionals  to identify the impacts of pandemic on the supply chain. In detail the survey, questions related to strategies that various businesses use to reduce and handle the issues. The survey will identify important strategies to maintain the operational flow.  Moreover It will help to identify the resilient strategies. In the interview, main topics relates to new technology adoption, production and suppliers’ details. These interviews, will provide  insights on resilient strategies opportunities as well as issues.

Mixed method approach will be used to get insights about supply chain operations. However with help of this approach, resultants from the interviews and survey will be combined. It will help to understand the resilience of global chain in the pandemic in detail. This understanding will be useful for organizations to plan the strategies based on their operations. Through this, they will implement developed strategies ad mitigate the disturbances in supply chain management. This research will be useful for policymakers and all size of businesses to efficiently operate their business in the global level without any interruption.
