Abstract

Regional integration has become the main strategy for countries looking to improve market access boost growth and improve regional cooperation. The paper examines how regional economic integration affects regional trade and aims at trade agreements, regional policies, and economic cooperation. The research investigates whether the integration promotes regional trade by minimizing trade barriers, enhancing regulatory harmonization, and supporting deeper economics. Generally, this study applies the mixed method approach, compounding quantitative analysis of the trade information and economics visualized by the qualitative case studies.

Interviews with the policymaker’s trade experts, and companies implemented in the regional economics communities deliver meaningful insights. The study mainly consists of three regions EU(European Union) AfCFTA (AfricanContinental Free Trade Area) and ASEAN (Association of the Southeast Asian Nations). The outcomes shows that regional economic integration improves the regional trade by minimizing the traffic and make it easy trade process. Moreover  the integration improves the market access, will used to stronger economic relation over the member stages. The AfCFTAS operations has led to trade development and over the effect differentiate over the member states.

Unequal advantages over the member states persists and with few countries profiting more than others. Non traffic barriers also edge the full possible of the integration. These problems main concentrate on the inclusivity of the economic development and as not all nations gain the advantage form the trade liberalization. However the paper concluded with policy recommendations to improve the regional integrations. member states should address the disparities in the trade advantages to ensure the development. In addition, deletion of the non-traffic barriers and regulatory harmonization need to implement. These implementations will used to support the sustainable economic and balanced development in the integrated areas. Further studies explore the how these recommendations will be virtually operated over the several economic blocs.
