Abstract
In the hospital, clinical workflows vary based on the patient’s health conditions and staff behavior. Hospitals need to facilitate quality healthcare services and keep the operational flows efficiently. To achieve this, digitalization is very important for hospitals. Generally, various digital technologies involving telemedicine and electronic health records help hospitals to smoothly run their operations. Hospitals must be aware of digitalization importance and technologies to provide better services. This study aims to explain the healthcare digitalization role in enhancing operational efficiency. To find the relevant information, it wants to use a mixed methodology.
Healthcare administrators know about the benefits and challenges that arise when transforming to digitalization. Moreover, Interviews will be conducted with them and comprehensions regarding the hospital management changes and impacts of digitalization will be recognized. The hospital culture and the staffs role in the transformation will play a noticeable part. However along with these details, challenges that are associated with hospital digitization involving system integration and staff training will be identified.
The survey will collect quantitative data through quantitative analysis. Mainly the survey will be on the hospital management records that involve the patient timings, treatment details, and staff behavior towards patients. Generally, the analysis will find the resource allocation strategies to enhance operations in the hospital. This approach will identify the role of hospital digitalization in enhansing operational efficiency. However these details will be useful for hospitals to update the guidelines to the staff to effectively deal with digitalization. They also help to streamline operations like service providing that leads to improve clinical operations efficiency and services.
