Abstract

The Country of Origin has evolved as a practical investigating area in recent times to understand the perception of customers. It explains that the product manufacturing country also has a great impact on the behavior and perception of the customers. The COO states the product originated country has a great impact in influencing the purchase decision of the customers. It either develops a positive or negative perception in the customer based on their opinion regarding the respective country. The imports and exports have increased widely across the world based on the organization’s strategy regarding customer perceptions. The COO provides informed insights into the organizations regarding the perceptions of the target customers on their products. However the study explores the impact of COO on customer perception in global markets using a mixed-method study.

The behavior of the customer is mainly influenced by the reputation, quality, and reliability offered by the originated country. Generally the qualitative research explains the behavior and perceptions and behavior of the customers regarding a product of a particular nation. It conducts various surveys and interviews worldwide for analyzing the perception of the customers. The quantitative analysis explains the influence of the originated country on product sales and customer perceptions. It performs experimental research and in-depth analysis to understand the factors that influence the purchase decisions of the customers.

The economic conditions and reputation of the country in the global market also have a great impact on the customers. The study provides accurate information to the organizations regarding customer perceptions by using mixed-method analysis. The COO effect might develop either negative or positive perceptions in the customers. However  It clearly explains the major influencing factors of customer perceptions on product sales. The organizations need to establish an effective marketing strategy for understanding the factors that influence the decisions of the customers. Moreover the COO provides several benefits to the organizations such as competitive advantages, improved sales, customer satisfaction, and global connections.
