Exploring the Role of Patient-Centered Care in Improving Healthcare Outcomes: A Multi-Method Study

Abstract

Patient-centered care is a system that involves the prioritization of necessities, preferences, and values of patients. It also involves patient care management and quality care. Moreover, it involves effective decision-making. However, there are several factors such as patient satisfaction, and healthcare outcomes with reducing costs. It includes the unique needs and necessities of patients. Patience satisfaction is not possible with one approach. Patient-centric care has advantages for healthcare providers and patients. For example, it includes better healthcare outcomes, enhanced satisfaction, and enhanced quality of life for patients. Moreover, better treatment plans with positive lifestyle changes can enhance their outcomes in health.

The patient-centric care benefits health providers in building strong relations with patients which enhances patient retention and loyalty. Firstly, patient-centered care is an emerging trend in the healthcare system. It needs better opportunities for patients to improve their outcomes. Secondly, the enhancement of a personalized healthcare system and value-based healthcare system benefits both the patients and the healthcare system.  Additionally, it prioritizes high-quality services to eliminate barriers. The key strategies involve the promotion of the healthcare system, patient care, and enhanced trust and engagement. Besides, the implementation of a feedback system can enhance delivery and resource allocation.

However, patients follow prescribed treatments and have better experiences with greater satisfaction towards the healthcare system. As there are many racial discriminations the model eliminates barriers and brings positivity with the support of all the ethical systems. In addition, it benefits patients with successful treatments and overall evaluation. Moreover, it benefits practitioners with better practice with patients and rewards. Overall, this is a transformative approach that addresses both the healthcare system and patients reducing the disparities. In conclusion, patient-centered care must act as the main pillar for the healthcare delivery systems and achieve better healthcare outcomes.
