Abstract

Employee training is a primary aspect for the business organizations to improve their business efficiency and productivity. The study explores information related to the relation between productivity of manufacturing organizations and employee training using multi-method approach. The manufacturing industry is facing difficulties in improving their efficiency with the evolving demand in the market. Investing in the employees’ training is the best practice for the manufacturing organizations to improve their efficiency and productivity. Conducting training programs to the employees boosts their technical and leadership skills which significantly reflects on the organization’s productivity. It offers numerous benefits for both the organization and employees by improving their standards according to market requirements. This study focuses on implementing multi-method approaches for determining the relation between employee training and organizational productivity in the manufacturing sector.

The multi-method approach combines the research knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative analysis for providing comprehensive data. The qualitative analysis explains the influence of training programs on the skills, knowledge, and performance of the employees. Moreover It uses the information of surveys and interviews with employees for understanding the impact of training programs. The quantitative analysis determines the impact of the training programs on the performance and productivity of the manufacturing industry. However it analyzes the standards of manufacturing organizations which implement employee training programs to understand the impact of training on productivity.

The multi-method approach provides a clear picture to the manufacturing organizations about the impact of employee training on productivity. The challenge in employee training is it improves the efficiency of the employees, which may not reflect organizational productivity. The main reason behind this challenge is due to lack of effective leadership or insufficient equipment. Improving leadership ability and arranging required resources helps manufacturing organizations to improve their productivity through training. Integrating the information into both quantitative and qualitative analysis helps in understanding the impact of it on business productivity. It helps manufacturing organizations to improve their productivity and efficiency, which also contributes to long-term business continuity.
