Abstract

In the competitive global market today, employee engagement is an important factor in the multinational corporation’s success. Therefore, employees engaged are more productive, committed, and motivated than the other organizations. Companies that encourage a positive work environment, effective communication experience, and strong leadership help to increase performance levels and reduce turnover rates. Hence, MNCs face unique challenges in the spread of a diverse workforce engaging over various cultural and geographic contexts. Moreover, a proper understanding of the key employee engagement drivers helps companies develop targeted strategies to improve satisfaction and workforce motivation.

The study analyses the organizational culture, work environment, role of leadership, and communication in continuously shaping engagement levels. Additionally, by considering approaches like mixed method, conducting qualitative interviews with the employees, and managing the uncover key barriers and drives towards the engagement. Whereas, the quantitative survey further evaluated the leadership style impact, work-life balance, recognition programs, and career growth opportunities. Overall, the findings show that strong leadership, a culture of inclusion, and transparent communication are improving the commitment of employees significantly. Employees who feel recognized, aligned, and valued with the goals of the company exhibit engagement levels. For instance, the study highlights the continuously adapting strategies importance to meet diverse global team expectations.

Accordingly, the research shares actionable recommendations for the MNCs to improve employee engagement with tailored initiatives. The continuous encouragement of operation communication, inclusive workplace fostering, and investing in the development of careers results in an increasingly engaged workforce. Future research focuses on the way work models evolve like influencing the engagement in global teams, and hybrid and remote setups. Therefore, a strategic and holistic approach is required to manage the organizational success of long-term and satisfaction of employees. Finally, through prioritization engagement, MNCs develop a thriving work culture that improves the performance of the company and individuals.
