Abstract
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, consumer demand in multiple industries has undergone a shift while significantly influencing customers’ behavior in general. Consequently, the coronavirus increased the demand for digital technologies. This reduced demand for divisions like luxury items, travel, also traditional retail. Global trade has switched under these changes as companies now experience shifting market situations for consumer demand. However, the paper explores the impacts of shifts in consumer demand due to post-pandemic effects on supply networks moreover industrial ways, and international trade. For instance, it seeks to analyze how the alterations in the demands of consumers affect the patterns of trade flows.
The study adopts mixed-methods research with a combination of qualitative findings incorporated into quantitative analysis. International source trade data analysis to detect the patterns and trends in demand in different industries. To elicit responses from companies about the change in customers’ needs, there is a survey and interviews conducted. Trade professionals, business executives, and industry experts do this.
